Workshop Details:
Introduction
To meet the evolving needs of the time, the Nepal Sanskrit University (previously known as Mahendra Sanskrit University) was established on November 25, 2043, in Beljhundi Dang. The current iteration of the university was brought into existence through the efforts of King Birendra Birvikram Shah, as well as the unwavering dedication and hard work of Sanskrit enthusiasts in Nepal. Initially initiated by King Mahendra Birvikram Shah, the university was envisioned as a central institution for the advancement and development of Sanskrit education in the country. The establishment of the Sanskrit University owes a great deal to the commitment of Sanskrit education supporters from various regions, including the district of Dang, who played a crucial role in preserving and enhancing Sanskrit education.
